MY SPECIALIST AREAS

INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOTHERAPY

I provide psychotherapy (also known as talk therapy) in a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment. I believe that every person’s journey is unique, and I am here to listen with care and to understand your thoughts, feelings, and lived experiences. Together, we will explore what matters most to you and work toward developing coping strategies that feel meaningful and effective for your life.

Feeling comfortable and at ease with your therapist is an important part of this process, and I place great value on building a strong therapeutic relationship. To help you decide whether we may be a good fit, I offer an initial phone conversation where we can talk more about your needs and goals.

GROUP THERAPY

Group therapy offers a supportive environment where individuals can share their experiences and feelings with others facing similar challenges.

Group sessions may include talk therapy, arts therapy, or a combination of both. These sessions encourage open dialogue and foster connection, which can support personal growth and improved mental well-being. Group therapy can be a powerful way to build a sense of community and to develop coping strategies together.

I offer group sessions for children and young people, as well as adults. Please get in touch to find out about groups currently running.

CHILDREN/ADOLECENT THERAPY

Both psychotherapy and arts-based therapeutic approaches provide safe, contained spaces for children to express their feelings—with or without words—navigate challenges, and access their creativity. Through guided sessions, children can explore their emotions, build resilience, and develop coping strategies while engaging in the therapeutic process through artistic expression and talk therapy.

Sessions are entirely tailored to each child, using tools and approaches that feel comfortable and supportive for them. Sessions can take place in my therapy space or within the child’s home—wherever feels safest and most appropriate.

ART/DRAMATHERAPY

Art and Dramatherapy are effective therapeutic approaches that use creativity to support healing and self-exploration.

Through artistic expression—such as art-making, music, storytelling, movement, and role-play—individuals can explore emotions, experiences, and challenges in a nurturing, open, and safe environment. This approach does not rely solely on words, and there is no expectation that a client be “artistic.” Instead, it offers a gentle and indirect way of processing trauma and life experiences, particularly when talking about them feels difficult or overwhelming.

COUPLES THERAPY

As a couples therapist, I provide a safe and supportive environment for partners to explore their feelings and improve communication. My goal is to help you navigate challenges, strengthen your connection, and foster a healthier, more satisfying relationship. Together, we will work through difficulties with empathy and understanding, supporting you in moving toward a more fulfilling partnership.

FAMILY THERAPY

Integrating psychotherapy and art therapy within family therapy can create a safe and expressive space for families to explore emotions and relationships together. Through creative activities, family members may find new ways to communicate feelings that can be difficult to express verbally.

This integrative approach supports understanding, connection, and healing within the family system, helping to foster healthier dynamics and emotional well-being. Creativity can offer families a gentle and meaningful way to strengthen bonds and navigate challenges together.
